We have published our half-year financial report for January-June 2025. Our comparable EBITDA in the second quarter reached EUR 341 (240) million and cash flow before financing activities was EUR 226 (-466) million. “We are determined to improve our performance and are on the right track to deliver. However, the markets continue to be challenging. In the current uncertain and volatile operating environment, our top priority is to further improve our competitiveness and financial position. Yesterday, Neste‘s President and CEO?Heikki Malinen?joined the EU implementation dialogue on renewable fuels led by the Transport?Commissioner?Apostolos Tzitzikostas. Renewable fuels, such as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), play a crucial role in reducing emissions and achieving the EU’s climate ambitions. But it is clear that there is a need to improve the existing EU’s policy frameworks such as ReFuelEU. We must ensure that the EU stimulates demand for all types of SAF in the coming 5 years and maintains a predictable operating environment.
